Libya's Ambassador to France resigned, Posted by Meosha Eaton

PARIS, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Libya's ambassador to France and another diplomat from Tripoli resigned on Friday, a Libyan official said.

"I confirm it..they back the people," an official from Libya's offices at the headquarters of the Paris-based U.N. agency UNESCO told Reuters, asking not to be identified.

The official said Tripoli's ambassador to France, Mohamed Salaheddine Zarem, and its ambassador to UNESCO, Abdoulsalam El Qallali, had quit. (Reporting by John Irish)
